Welcome on web sites of the Innovation and Information Centre of Geopolymers
The Innovation and Information Centre of Geopolymers (IICG) is engaged in support of geopolymers technologies development. These technologies are focused on process and utilization of industrial waste, non-used secondary raw materials and some separated municipal waste components. The Centre supports among others research and development of geopolymer matters and subsequent development and a production of structural elements prototypes and their following introduction to the building industry.
The Centre informs not only specialists but also entrepreneurs. Primarily the IICG sets out to stimulate the interest of entrepreneurs in geopolymer technologies and to place these technologies in production. The Centre also should allow the long-term cooperation among the non-profit sectors, research institutes and the entrepreneurs.
The Innovation and Information Centre of Geopolymers was established as a project that will run under the JPD2 Programme, which is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. The project’s beneficiary is the Czech Development Agency.
